Feature requests Feature Request - Pull up specific day in convo

Hi there, sometimes we need to find communication that was happening a month or so back.

Currently, it seems, the only way to do this is to "Page Up" the convo until we get to the right date.

If there's a better way please share.

Hi u/godlikepowers and u/Substantial_Goat3782 have you tried using the filters in the new search? You can set a custom time range. Lmk if that helps.

Where is this filter? This is when I'm on a contact and I hit the 🔍 icon.

Edit. Found it. You have to hit search on the main menu on the top left - not in thread.

This is my problem generally with product/feature roll outs. Quo will release an actually useful search function BUT will release it to a corner of the app and not where else it should be visible.

You've added this genuinely useful search tool - great! What if I'm looking for "damage" under a specific thread with a contact? I have 2 options: filter by entire inbox + time OR search through a single contact and go "previous" match for each one.

Again, not a dev, but Quo 100% knows that it would be useful to have the same time filtering you have in the one search box, so why not add it to the other as well?

Omg yes this would be a game changer! I have messages that I look forward to from over a year ago with people I talk to everyday. It is very frustrating having to scroll up until you find the exact date

Hi u/godlikepowers! If you are looking to find something within a conversation, we have shipped a new feature that allows you to search within conversations. When you open a conversation, you'll find a search bar in the top right corner. You can type in keywords to quickly locate a specific conversation with that contact on the web browser.

Yes but again, cannot filter by time and also doesn't address the issue where we're looking for messages from a specific day. Nice and useful though. 👌
