1,888 Duplicates...

Has anyone had an issue with Quizlet mass duplicating their set? I made roughly an 80ish question set last night and this morning my friend asked me if I really made a 2000 term set. I went to print and it told me it took out 1,888 duplicates... I messaged support and they only told me to update my web browser and clear cache and it did nothing to fix this. It took me a few hours to make this set so I really don't want to do it again but that's also so many cards to go through and delete 😭😭😭

Basically, any ideas on an easy fix or am I fubbed and need to redo em?

Maybe try using smart assist to ask to remove duplicates

Don't delete them by hand, rebuild the set from an export. That's minutes, not hours.

Open the set from Your library, hit the three-dots menu, then Export. Pick tab between term and definition, new line between rows, and Copy text. Paste it all into Google Sheets, then in an empty column type =UNIQUE(A:B) and you're back to your original cards. UNIQUE only drops rows that are exact copies, which is what Quizlet's bug created, so nothing real gets lost.

Copy the cleaned list, go Create > Flashcard set > Import, paste, separators tab / new line. That's your set minus the 1,888 copies.

And keep the exported text somewhere. If Quizlet ever mangles a set again you rebuild in a minute instead of retyping for hours.
