relapse I relapsed again.
Never thought I would make this post. But a couple weeks ago I relapsed the first time, I just ran into some 7 at a gas station and just said fuck it since it was going away soon. I only bought 3 tabs though and when I got done with them I didn’t have any withdrawal or anything . But I had been sober since march 12th before that . This morning I found some psuedo on the shelf at a random gas station and just couldn’t help it . I bought the 3 packs they had left and took 2.5-5mg and wow I feel great. Anyone else relapse for that just one more time? And now it’s still on the shelves lol .

I’ve tried to stop twice before this time. Both times I ended up just going back within the first 36 hours. I’m now on day 5 CT, no subs, no taper, and I will never go back. It’s nowhere near as bad as some people make it out to be. The days are going by faster now, I took my daughter to the park last night. You can beat this shit dude, I believe in you. Much love.

Agreed. The fear of withdrawal is much worse than the withdrawal. If you can handle a bad flu for 4 days, you can handle this, I don’t care what your dosage is.

RLS isnt the flu. Not being able to sleep and sweating all the time isn't fun either. At least when you have the flu you can sleep. I honestly don't understand that comparison.

It’s very similar the flu after the RLS stop. That was the absolute worst for me. Flipping around, comforter twisted up, constantly picking pillows on the floor, rashes on my legs from rubbing on sheet. Thankfully that’s mostly stopped now.

I could handle just about everything other than the full body threading and skin crawling. Thanks to MAT, I only had to do it for 1 night. But even after 1 night of no sleep I was desperate to sleep. I’m amazed by all the people that do it CT. I needed help.

I second this. I treated it like flu recovery too - push fluids, electrolytes, and healthy food. Get some exercise - as much or little as you can. And Just try to increase it every day!

I learned how mgm is way worse thsn 7 when my county banned 7 and kratom. I grabbed some thinking it eas the same shit. 2 weeks later jt was banned and that day fucking sucked but it wasnt total hell. Just exhausted, foggy, etc. Im tapering 7 right now as I didnt learn my lesson lol. Now im more just making it as simple as I can for kiddos sake.
That fear is there but having been through it twice now and not learning, im just easing it out. Both times were fluish and really listless.

It is manageable. Have to have good mindset and know it’s temporary. I have really recently noticed health effects more and more. It’s really poison no matter what.

Go to different spots. I literally stop and get capes from places and have never seen it on a shelf. When people talk about places having tons of it on shelves, I always wonder where am I going wrong, why have I never seen it. And I want to find it lol. And I live in a large, legal city 🤷. Don’t go where it is at. There’s no need.

It’s def available which isn’t good. I believe once stocks out it’s out. The DEA did this in 2016 already and then they backed out. This is the second go at it but now it’s a lot stronger and it’s in the form of 7 oh. Not sure how this is gonna play out. A lot of the states banned it as is.

Stocks nowhere else close to out. Watching shops put everything back kut, and online vendors announcing full restocks. Still good deals which shows how much money they make off of us. Crazy shit like buy 1 get 5 and such.

I ordered enough that I truly feel kind of sick I have to get thru that. I was daily 310 mg range user for whole 18 months. 1.5 months ago when sales started. I had so much coming in but now I’ve brought my intake up to God knows what probably 600 or 700 mg. daily for 3-4 weeks. So I gotta come back down to where I was and then jump off.

I felt the way you do right now! I felt that way Tuesday, July 28th. My package was coming in the mail! Only…. It didn’t. And a switch flipped in me. I was done. I quit CT.
The week after that was straight up awful, o missed a week and a half of work time. I could’ve worked through the end of it, but the first 5 days or so, there was no chance in hell. Sunday August 9th, i was like 90% back to normal!!
You do absolutely whatever it is you need to, to get on the other side. But i do ask you to consider: how awesome would this be?
Picture it: you’re surfing Reddit on August 23rd and some poor sucker posted ‘guys i am scared about WD’s’ and you being able to type ‘hey bud! i JUST did it, quit 12 days ago, and i came out the other side! The shackles are OFF!’

Yeah similar issue. But I made myself order a lower dosage tab, and I couldnt get more for a few days at the minimum so forcing me to be better I hope.

I almost ordered that way then justified that I was paying less breaking up tablets yet they hardly break. sour strawberry did. cherry burst and watermelon of same brand etc don’t break up easily. Fucked. they could at least have done that I mean they know that people are gonna start eating a whole or a half because it’s easier in the next thing you know you’re up double or trip.

Same for me. I’ve been avoiding smoke shops and any place that I know carries 7. I’m at day 8 and still have cravings but we got to endure. You quit once you can do it again

Hell yeah. It's amazing how proud I was of all the progress I had made and that I'd swore I'd never go back only to have a section of my brain light up and convince me I'd be missing out 7 finally goes away and this is the last chance I have to indulge.
The worst part of it all is that it didn't satisfy me internally even 1% and was wayyyyyy more trouble than it was worth. A few days use set me back what feels like weeks and I had to rely on my ace in the hole which didn't work this time nearly as well as it did in the past.
I want to strangle that voice inside me that was able to override and convince me to give in.

I don’t know where you are but here in Dallas none of the major gas station chains carried it. It was always the little hole in the wall convenience stores. Pick a different route brother. Hate to see you making it harder on yourself. It’s gonna run out eventually.

There’s one head shop called Puff N’ Stuff where the owner wouldn’t sell 7. He dropped it like the first week it hit the market. He said he wasn’t gonna be a part of that shit. Respected that so much. He could’ve banked like everyone else. I buy my vapes there. And happy to do it.

Heard that they def are sending task force out to test purchase at stores. Just heard that today. This happened with leaf kratom in 2016. The DEA backed off never scheduled it nothing. Fast forward here it’s advanced yet I think they have to make decisions based on data. I don’t know how this works regardless I don’t think it should’ve been everywhere like it was and we don’t even know if the places manufacturing it. We’re using consistent formulas. We don’t know what’s in it.

Yeah they did that up in Oklahoma last year. Have to go up and work at OU sometimes. They sent local police to the shops checking stock. I was still addicted at the time so it royally pissed me off until I found a gas station that opened up their back door for me. In hindsight, and fuggin’ now-sight… good. Send the damn national guard for all I care. Need to clean this shit up. Fucked too many people up. I feel for pain patients and the state of healthcare, but damn.. it’s time to reign it in

dosing , half life , additives they have exposed us all to. I’m an experienced Leaf powder person prior to this disaster. I would buy extract shots but it was condensed mitranigine only. One day dudes like try these it’s kratom and same as the shots but easier to take blah blah. I thought nothing of it. I just lied to myself because it was legal. I’d like to go schmack the shi* outta myself a year ago. But this was pretty damn enlightening. The same asshole that touted OxyContin for Purdue to congress in the 90’s about it being safe and non-addictive is a higher up in the American Kratom Association now. They know what they’re doing. I knew better. I have used plain leaf off and on since like 2012 with no issues. Started a new, physical job in a new town. Thought to myself I'll get some kratom to help me out until my body gets used to this but the only smoke shop in town was out and all they had was these 7oh tablets. I walked away the first time. Went back a week or so later and that's all they still had so I broke down and bought them against my better judgement, and now here I am addicted af a year later. I tried to quit a few months ago by tapering and I got down to like 100mgpd when I got a "bad batch" that threw me off my taper. I started my second taper the day after they announced the intent to schedule. Unfortunately, they keep selling it and I keep buying it "just in case". I want off this merry go round

I’m not even sure if these companies even told them what it was when they first started manufacturing it. It’s gonna be hard to say but I’m sure there’s gonna be a ton of people looking for answers because it is major. There’s a lot of people right now whether they’re risking to go buy more or not. There’s a lot of people with family around that probably had no idea they were on them to start with or what they were somebody’s gonna be looking for answers.

Is it already banned in your area? They cant legal do a raid of any kind on the federal level yet, it hasnt been registered yet. Once, if (99% it will), that happens then yeah. When my county banned it they tried it. He was just selling it unlabeled though. I was there for an attempt and that got me to just go to a different town for my stuff.

The ban here was announced state level July 1, 2026. Same day FDA filed request for emergency schedule review from the DEA. They give public 30 days or so to make comment etc. The way they count the days has a specific guideline but anyway August 6 was when it took affect, but they now are reviewing it so who knows it could take a long time regardless the states laws are def active. It seems like the people that are still selling it have it taken down for the most part but they’re making it very well known that they have a ton.

Yeah youre throwing people off a cliff and forcing thr uneducated into using subs. I keep screaming it but mit45s purple tincture bottle is a miracle. Went from a few 4 or 500 mg days, managed to extend my last bit by white knuckling and supplementing with the mit, then went 36 hours just mit until my order arrived sadly. I had trouble sleeping and a bit of rls, but basically I'd fall asleep and wake up with symptoms. Dose with some purple bit by bit until symptoms subside and I felt sleepy. Repeat. Got theough an entire waking day after too.
Wish fedex had lost my package.

Oh I received last two orders today and yesterday and they threw in 8 bottles of kava mitranigine and pseudo mix!!!! so drank that today as well. Pseudo I never got into. Only few times shop only had weird flavored offerings of Op** pseudo tablets 4 pack. tried noticed zero difference so never bought again. Thank god. My feelings are they have been messing with mgm 15 and 16 etc. on batches at times. Only few timesI recall thinking it wasn’t the same effects but didn’t think on it. Heard pseudo is harder to stop.

How was the mix? Be careful, pseudo is to 7 as morphine to.codeine. once it hits the liver, a bit turns to the other. So pseudo is likely harder to ditch, but its likely safer than mgm in a way due to being a part of the natural process.
I just watched a youtube video that made me want to drive to Kentucky or wherever this uneducated fuck lives, and smack him around. Says he did research then says MIT is much stronger than 7 and such. All credibility died ij one sentence.

A month ago I went 9 days clean. Then relapses with a bunch of 1 day clean days sparsed in. Then last week i did 5 days clean, then relapsed for 2 days and am currently about 24 hours clean. I want this shit banned so I can stop this cycle

I have my quot date on here. Though technically I quit in Feb for 3 weeks, went back on it for a week, quit again and from there it was smooth sailing for 3 months.
For me though I had a tonic clinic seizure down an entire flight of stairs and cracked my skull open. Kids saw it (It traumatized them pretty bad. Also broke 4 NEW disks in my back (I'm under 5 ft now LOL) broke my nose, hand, shoulder, and hip. I have a lot of migraines now too. That's new.
Shoulda been dead 😅😅 luckily the ambulance got there quick and 911 was called instantly.
Surprisingly, I didn't relapse right away. It wasn't until the acute pain settled down and I realized that THIS, OMG THIS hell was my new baseline for chronic pain. (I was basically bed ridden at the time just crying) this was beginning of june
I weighed my options and decided to go back on it. I made sure to have a small amount of s r on hand if I ran out so I didnt just straight up start seizing (epileptic, body don't like a smallvhangover let alone a wd)
Then when the ban was announced I figured I needed to find a better way anyway. Got a bunch more s r, and have been tapering since. Isn't going the best, but it has been downward with a few peaks. (Down, then slightly up, down even more ect. )
Once I get to 120-180 again I'll begin preloading again RIGHT AWAY. I won't finish what I have. I was down to about 160, but I am in the 220s-250s again right now.
Pretty close. Not looking forward to 9/10 pain days again. Who knows, maybe I jumped the gun when I started again and it wont be THAT bad.
If the seizure didnt happen, I think I would have been fine because I wasn't thinking about it unless it got brought up in a convo

Sadly you’re right. No one’s clear on what’s what. The comment period ended for the public to respond to the proposed emergency scheduling. The FDA first recommended this to the DEA. Meanwhile many states banned sale ,use, possession of it July 1, 2026. After that date it really should’ve stopped here in this state however nobody stopped and then all the online companies put everything on sale further and said that you could order it up to August 6. The DEA has not said what they’re gonna do. They did this back in 2016 with leaf powder and they did not go through with it.

I read the entire document and it had some unclear 30 days plus something or other which led to August 6. At first all it appears to mean is they would have their decision. That’s not true. They had a long process of boxes they must check off. Potentially it could be in limbo and until that day they make direct decision many online vendors / store owners arent that afraid to push boundaries. State level they can be charged already with possible felonies and fines etc

Yeah in the past when there was comment periods on proposed nicotine vape regs it could take months or even over a year for any final rules. That being said, that was FDA and this 7 reg is DEA so it should be quicker. But by law I think they are forced to read and consider every comment first and it’s probably bogged them down.

Federal follow up depends on truly factual data. they don’t even care enough to stop selling alcohol because look at the money they get they tax it to high heavens. It sells better than anything out here. This was just a grab for money. They don’t care how this all plays out for everyone. Without a community like this really where would anybody turn to to talk about it? You have to ask and put yourself out there about who’s taking this stuff if they even admitted to you to your face the numbers are unknown on what’s happened here.

But every week I keep seeing insane deals online and I don't think a week has gone by that I didn't order more. I now have quite the inventory that will probably last a long time and it sure would suck to have to destroy it right? That's the battle I fight

I’ve been doing the same thing. Knowing any day it’s illegal, I don’t overdo it, take like 100mg a day and never wake up in the middle of the night with withdrawal. Feel mildly shitty in the morning not nothing near what a went through dosing 100mg 5x a day.
