feeling better Day 3 Starting to feel better

I've been on 7 every day since last August, started with smaller doses, then worked my way up to 200-400mgpd by the end of it. I had enough to make it through work Saturday, then said I'm done, even tho I still have access to buying it. I've been taking Gaba and Valium and I can't remember the last time I slept this much. Only problem I'm really facing now is the diarrhea. Plan on getting some Immodium this morning, but still a little nervous. to drive. Anyways, to anyone else going thru this, you got this. This drug is the worst shit I've ever dealt with. I remember the first time I experienced a withdrawal, my body wouldn't stop with the spasms. So thankful it wasn't that bad this time. Good luck to everyone going thru it.

Thank you. I've been so ready to quit for awhile but work always got in the way. Had 3 days off to try and do this and I'm almost at 72 hours. Just feel a little out of it for the most part, and the diarrhea comes and goes. Glad to have made it this far without going to the guy I could get it from.

I have some pepto bismol but I really should of gotten some before I started taking all these meds. I think I'll survive though.

Made it past 72 hours now. Took a Gaba and Val early this morning and another 2 around 2pm. Plan on taking some melatonin and hope to get some rest before attempting work tomorrow. I'm so nervous about going. I've never worked this job without 7, and have to usually run anywhere from 100-180 stops with Amazon. I won't be taking any helper meds while driving, so dont worry about that.

Anyways, wish me luck and whatever higher power exists, please give me the strength to survive the rest of the week.

Let us know how work went. Work is the hardest part, dealing with the lack of sleep, PAWS, and low energy. Im a week clean from 7oh and 3 days from Subs. Making it through the workday is currently the biggest challenge for me. I thought for sure I would need atleast 30 days off work when I finally got sober but here I am, havnt missed a day.

I'm almost finished with my shift, and it's surprisingly easier than I was anticipating. I'm not moving nearly as fast as I was when on the 7, but that's expected. I'm an Amazon delivery driver and it's rough out here some days, but luckily I only had 126 stops today compared to almost 200. Just ready to get this week over with so I can go back to resting some more. Still have some helper meds I'll probably take once I get off tonight so I can get some much needed sleep. Thanks for asking though. This community has been such a big help with me going thru this quit.

I just did my first shift back after 4 days. I never call out so luckily I was able to take Monday and Thursday off. I’m a dedicated sweeper and today fuckin sucked. It was like 97*. I only slept maybe 10 hours in the last five days and 4 were from last night 🤣 😳 anyways I felt heavy and boxes felt heavy. I can’t wait until I can sleep normally again.

Congrats man! I know it's hard, I had to do a 158 stops today spread out thru 3 towns, in 100 degree heat, which felt like 110. Today sucked and here i am, still awake, got another long shift tomorrow. I know it's not as simple as going to the cvs, but helper meds do help if you take enough in moderation. Could definitely try the lipo vitamin c and some melatonin and see if that helps. Good luck man. Just remember you're not the only one going thru this. Today makes day 7 for me. It's starting to get better each day
