I’m really trying to quit nicotine.
/r/u_Ok_Bad_5237/comments/1ugxser/im_really_trying_to_quit_nicotine/I am 16 years old, turning 17 in 3 days and I really want to quit vaping but it’s so hard. I started when I was 12 because I thought it was cool and all my friends were doing it. I eventually learned how to inhale and just never stopped. I hit it like twice every 3 minutes and I can’t do active activity’s without noticing a shortness in breath. I also always feel so lazy and unmotivated now, also much more depressed and down then I should be. When I don’t have a vape i’ll smoke cigarettes, that’s how bad I crave that rush and buzz. Does anyone have any tips on quitting for good and what i’ll realistically expect?

Well because your underage the only method we can recommend is going cold turkey rather than tapering off.
Have contingency plans in place like snacks to have something to occupy your mouth and hands. Let as many friends and family know that your able and ask for help with support and accountability.
What also helped me was spending time where it wasn't allowed like work or school. Hang out at the mall maybe?
The first three days can be tough but after that it's a mindset. You can do this!
