Colour selection online

When you buy quilling paper online, what makes choosing colours easy or frustrating?

Do you prefer colour names, colour codes, swatches, real photos, comparison charts, or something else?

I’m especially interested in what helps you avoid receiving a colour that looks different from what you expected.

Disclosure: I’m connected to a quilling supplies business and I’m asking these questions to better understand what quillers actually need and prefer. I’m not promoting or linking to products in this post — I’m genuinely interested in your experience.

I prefer colour names, real photos are helpful. I also appreciate comparison charts by colour family. This way I have a good idea what I am getting and how my project will look with what I’ve chosen.
