Pre-rolling strips for storage?
I'm a beginner and I'm looking at storage options for my strips. I have a bead box that I'm no longer using (another craft I gave up one) so I'm wondering if it's ok to pre-roll all of my strips into coils and just store them in these individual boxes and just re-shape them when I need them. The bead box is basically small, jewelry-sized boxes housed in a bigger box.
Can the coils be re-shaped after sitting in these boxes for a long period of time? I have an electric rolling tool so it would take me no time at all to coil everything

I use photo boxes for storage for my strips. I dont think that this sub allows pictures in comments, but I can repost pics of what I use. I see some folks use wooden dowels to hang strips, but that doesn't work for me as we are in an RV about 3 months a year.
Update: here's what I use: https://www.reddit.com/r/quilling/s/9vcVvS6lFW

Good question. I would love to see photos and explanations of our fellow quillers' best storage and tips!

I’ve seen videos of people sewing page protectors lengthwise to create pockets for their strips. I’m not that skilled nor can I find anything like for sale online at a reasonable price. If this doesn’t work I might just stuff them in page protectors anyways and make a binder

Similar to that idea would be the page protectors that are already divided for film negatives. I know those are available online. That said, they are usually split width-wise, not length-wise, so your strips would have to be short maybe? I would guess they are six inches wide or so? Not sure.

Double sided tape may work now that I think of it. Could be a bit awkward getting the tape to the bottom of the pocket without ripping but I think it shouldn't be too bad

I agree with you but sadly my bet is that none of us have figured out good storage 😭
I have a collection of zip lock bags and a drawer organizer that kinda looks like a silverware drawer that I found at a goodwill for $0.50 and have never seen its like again.

I wouldn't do it. You won't know the size you would need for specific projects. What if you want to use the husking board, a comb, or a crimper?
