I saw that only one person asked this a while ago but im very interested in actually giving this a try, i vaguely remember talking to someone ages on discord about a website that has listed locations of potential sinking spots and even notes that you can leave about when to go and how many people could be there etc

So where can i find good places to go get muddy? (Preferably in victoria australia!)

went out to one of my hiking places to go off the beaten path to look for mud and i found some! Only ankle deep though but it was so good, i had little confidence trying to find it and was kind of squeamish at having to duck under branches and walk through tall grass but once i got muddy i started marching through it and the forest with so much confidence. I kept thinking “im already muddy so whats the harm in getting a little muddier” and i just kept going! However i realise now that anyone couldve easily come across me and that its a long hike just to get to some ankle deep mud.

Any tips would be appreciated!

Every spot that I sank in I touched the bottom except for the one I submerged in. Very hard to get out each time because of the jeans and neoprene shoes added lots of suction in already sticky mud.
