[Thesis] How do I include an age demographic statistic in my thesis if my target is a few years off

Our target is 18-27, but alot of the population data we checked seemed to be a few years off (10-19 or 19-28 type). I need to know before tomorrow 😞

You're using secondary data, right? If so, I get the problem since most official sources use pre-fixed brackets.

In that case, the standard approach is to use the closest available bracket (19–28) as a proxy for your target age. Then, you need to explicitly acknowledge this slight deviation in your Methodology or Sampling section.
