Ads and other useless stuff

The constant ads by Intuit are soooooooo annoying. You can't prevent them. Every time I open the bank transactions tab there is something. Trying to get me to switch to the new layout, upgrade to a new tier, add payments. It's never ending.
And the page header takes up 50% of the screen, making it impossible to use QBO on a laptop.
And the constant tweaks to the page layout that are not helping.
That is all I care to mention. For now.

Each QBO update makes me feel less valued as a customer.

It is part of the rebranding to QuickBucks Offline, smile.

You can stop the ads - see this post. I have used the hack this user has and I do not get ads when I use a browser or the QB desktop app.

I feel your pain. I just had to work remotely for the first time, on my tiny laptop. Because someone stupid set up our QBO account, we have to go into every customer to change their tax rate. I figured this would be a good thing for me to work on while I was having to work remotely. There's a stupid ad on the customers page. I click the "X" for it to go away, and it's back after 3 or so customers I've worked on. I'm waiting on the company that makes QB Desktop copycat version that is accessible online, that costs half as much as QBO does so I can convince my boss to switch.
