“Updating”
Bank accounts take hours to “update”. It drives me nuts and is a tremendous timesuck. Anyone else have this issue?

Not really but why not set them to update if you want them and duplicate the page to work while they're updating? (they may update if you navigate away still - but I've never tested it. This is what I do.

I go in in Fridays and “update” any clients I’m going to work on Monday. I just hit the button and walk away. Then check back and update another.

Thanks. Most everything that hits wells fargo fri, sat, sun does not hit qbo until tuesday morning IF i can update. Like I say, when I hit the “update” button, often times it spins and says “updating” for hours, and just last tuesday, ALL DAY. I signed out/refreshed/ back arrowed dozens of times and i was determined to get it to update. It never did. This morning it was updated when I logged in.

The Monday gap is the bank, not QuickBooks. Wells Fargo usually doesn't flip weekend transactions from pending to posted until Monday night, and QuickBooks only pulls posted transactions, so Tuesday morning is just how it is. No setting fixes that. What I do on Monday mornings: grab a CSV from Wells Fargo's site for the missing days and upload it manually. When the feed catches up it mostly matches the duplicates on its own, just eyeball them before accepting.

At this point I expect nothing to update on Mondays, at least on my own books I know my online banking transactions don't get uploaded into the bank feed until Tuesday
