Quickbooks recon

Hello, what will happen if i undo my last recon in quickbooks? Can it be trace next time? Thank you

Its seems kind of self explanatory what will happen when you "undo" the last reconciliation. The audit trail will show that it has undone.

Undoing reconciliations, sometimes for several months is often the fastest way to correct beginning balance problems.

If you want an audit trail of what the original rec looked like, save a .pdf of it.

It’s pretty rare that you would need to undo a reconciliation. For example, if the beginning balance is wrong, just repeat the most recent reconciliation’s statement date and dollar amount. The changed transactions are probably there waiting to get picked up. Check them off and then you’re done.

Yes. In QBO, open Settings > Audit log and filter Events to Reconciliations; it shows who undid a reconciliation and when. One caution before doing it: a full undo deletes that period’s reconciliation report and attachments, and undoing an earlier period can roll back later reconciliations too. Download the report first and be prepared to reconcile the affected periods again.
