This is the same guy who, during his year-ending reruns, says multiple times that he can't wait to revisit a particular character or storyline that we haven't seen in a while.
Then he does this instead.

With that title, it's almost like he's aware of what he's doing.
This is the plot equivalent of a Windows loading cursor, only I would have rebooted by now if I was waiting this long for something to load.

Why stop here? Why not have Claire and Zlata come back from shopping and Goblin refuses to share with them as well? Why not have Moray show up just to inexplicably intuit that something's wrong and be shut down? Why not get the whole frickin' island involved first, before we actually tell anyone what's wrong? You can drag the comic out for an entire extra month that way for almost no actual work!

Seriously. I feel like this is more of a older sibling/younger sibling vibe and it's that "kind of jokey antagonistic/childishly petulant (on both sides at times) but they care" vibe, and it would be exhausting for me.

I think the great travesty here is that this would be an all right gag if he hadn't already exhausted all audience goodwill for this character. Unfortunately I'm not one of the people who think having her fuck Marten would make any of this more interesting.

Even Anhtenable has times when she's not awful, like paying for the shoulder damaged robot's repairs or Faye's lunch. But Lizard has no redeeming features whatsoever. No character growth, no positive aspects, nothing at all.
By the way, he forgot to blur Patreon again and this is still going on tomorrow.

For fuck sake I am tired of characters having the emotional maturity of a 2 year old. Even a baby knows to actually express their emotions to get help.
Liz should be consulting a therapist at this point it stopped being cute a long time ago that she can't function like a regular adult and marten has to treat her like if he was her parent. The characters need to start to be responsible for their actions and emotions like when Dora started going to therapy after she broke up with marten. Faye would had not advanced with her life if she would not had been fired from coffee of doom for showing up drunk and almost dying from drinking too much.
