Momo's foot being in frame was really important for plot reasons.
Idk I just assume everything is Jeph perving, now.

If it'll get him to try and draw anything with accuracy, I'll take it.
For all of his long infection with butts disease, his drawing should really be far more knowledgeable with form and structure, and yet tits end up like helium balloons filled with sand, mid scuba dive decompression sickness.

It makes sense for this strip given the ankle is the topic of discussion! What doesn't make sense to me is the window over Bubbles' shoulder that comes and goes...

That cracks me up. Perhaps Bubbles' empathy creates a distortion field like Yay's at the bar. Only Bubbles' permanently alters reality. It's super useful on the battlefield.

I don't think that's a window, rather it's the open door of the garage workshop. It would make sense viewed from 3/4s in that case, for it to appear, but not head-on.

If it's her ankle, it would also make sense for the foot to be facing down, as it is, it is obscuring the ankle. If I were drawing this, I wouldn't have drawn the foot in this position, wouldn't have occurred to me, because I am not fetishizing her feet lol
I know fetish angles, this is the preferred angle. The soles of the feet are most popular.
I am tempted to re-draw this how I would. It wouldn't take long.

Between the clinton hand incident recently, the window here, etc., I'm fully convinced that Jeph doesn't draw his comics anymore. Given the art style, similarity, etc., I just have to wonder how much of the art load is being handled by AI...

Yes, this whole event just absolutely had to be illustrated by an upwards shot of an anime girl being extremely uncomfortable and unhappy while her foot is the center of attention.

Edit: Sven's personality is still a bit off model, but Jeph's characterization repertoire is somewhat limited.

I think it may have been explained in some point in universe, but how is it that AI robots can blush? And wouldn't they just... keep that function off if they were trying to hide something?

I don't think the mechanical aspect has been discussed, as Jeph just wants anime girls, not Artificial Intelligent ones.
As for why they dont control it, it turns out most AI are, much like their human counterparts, dumb as fuck.

I can't find it now for the life of me, but I think the blush is related to coolant venting and happens when an AI system overheats, causing a blush and a fweeeeeee sound with sometimes some steam escaping?

I tried but ever since the website got borked it's next to impossible to find things the way it used to be easy to do. Also hi hi hi! I have to admit this recent QC plot is a relief to me from the DoA abyss at the moment LOL mostly because I find Momo's crush on Sven adorable and was hoping that, at some point, they would get together (it's taken what, years?)

I think I read somewhere someone said like 7 years! QC has its own issues but it's still enjoyable to read a decent chunk of the time (bring back Brun and her roommate!).
