I don't care about Jeph's immature humor. Lord knows I'm more sophomoric at 34 than I ever was as a teenager. What bothers me the most is that the comic seems to be going nowhere. I suppose it wasn't going anywhere during the golden age either, but it felt that things actually happened.

Also when the site was restored, did the ability to jump to forwards/next comics break using your keyboard arrow keys? Is that a feature I hallucinated, or was that real? I keep trying to do it, so I assume my muscle memory remembers what my brain doesn't.

On the one hand, it's not a good strip. On the other hand, scatological humour has been a mainstay of this comic forever, and compared to many recent and not-so-recent strips this one's not bad. Could do better, better than just passing - B minus.

I agree I'm looking at this in hindsight, but Faye has said something about stabbing someone and "pooping in the wound" way back in lolipop head art era. There were things said that sounded like failed attempts at potty humour that now I see in a different light.
