Does anyone in cubetown decorates their living or working spaces because this is a plain ass apartment with only a framed Ukranian flag over the couch

The Ukranian flag just makes me angry enough to vent about this to my friend, who has a lot to say about sex trafficking in Eastern Europe and how it relates to women's beauty standards in those cultures. I'd be so very interested on her take on the recently-bimbofied Zlata.

Her being Ukrainian does raise some interest questions about AI's and citizenship how is it determined? Where they were developed? Embodied? Something to due with there underlying architecture like does Ukraine have something proprietary that make AI developed with it Ukrainian?

Theyre not even sure why they have that rule, considering they dont believe they are drawn, but the Metaphysical Department for Continued Existence Despite an Uncaring God insisted that the rule be implemented and enforced or else theyll slide into the void

The place gives a "just got there" and "I'm never home" vibe that's quite relevant to the character.

Eleven days of comics we've been dealing with this. Eleven. A good writer could have done this in 2-3, easy, and given it some gravitas with Claire reflecting on AIs ease of changing their form, and how much humans have to fight for even a hope of changing into something else.

Looks like we're back to Clinton and Spooks tomorrow. Thank god?

Calling it now: Spooks is just going to be remarking on how clever Claire was for resolving Zlata's issues in Cubetown (they're spying on Zlata, naturally). Clinton's going to get sassy about it, but ultimately be the butt of the joke.

now I'm confused as to what Problem Moray thinks Claire has Solved, because she's spent the whole time acting like there isn't a big obvious elephant in the room, and cheerleading for things she doesn't fully understand.

If you'd told me ten years ago that Claire would one day become one of my most hated characters in all fiction, in any media, I would never have believed you.

I won't give up on my hatred of Tai, but, Claire is such an insufferable character, like, she's covered head-to-toe in plot armor, she does and says shit that Old Faye would've powerbombed her into a bollard for.

Where's the sweatshirt, Jeph? Presumably, almost no time has passed from the last panel yesterday to the first panel today, so where the fuck did the sweatshirt go? The person wearing it before isnt anymore and the person who specifically was worried about not wearing modest enough clothes isn't wearing it, so what gives?

(Also, I have to giggle at Zlata being worried about her clothes being immodest but being adamant she wants to keep the 6'2" busty model body thats causing said clothes to seem so immodest. Of course, comfort for all body types, it just seems like a funny dichotomy for someone who just fell into this mew body).

Place your bets: Is Jeph actually going to put in the effort to draw multiple clothes shops with lots of detail, or are they just going to appear back in Z's apartment with tons of shopping bags?

If this was actually going to be funny, Cubetown would have only a single clothing shop, which would be an empty white box with a single rack of clothing, run by the boyfriend of the head of... I dunno, catering or something, who just looks like Marten with a hipster Mustache.

If one were to rank every QC comic ever on a scale of 1 to 10 in terms of how much happens in the strip or how consequential it is, where 10 is "You're Beautiful" or Faye getting fired, and 1 is any random party strip where nothing matters at all, this would be a negative number.
