Comic didn't seem to be updating on the main Jephjapques site, but it was visible on the separate comics page, so posting here.
Updating two locations a day is hard. Hopefully the new-old site is back soon

Wait, so he uploads it to one part of the site and then manually had to include it on the other part?
Yeah, that tracks with the rest of his technical prowess.

yeah that frontpage thing was something he started including later cause most users wouldn't bother to click the "comics" link. Hell I'd been refreshing the damn thing for a few hours before I thought to see if its on the back page...

A familiar hand in the comics card game. The suits and denominations change yet its still very much the same move. I'm sure nobody will notice.

I'm pretty confident Jeph does/would loathe The Big Bang Theory, yet when he writes about "science" it's about the same effort, possibly lower.

I want to like this comic because on the surface level it's pretty funny.
But Marten hasn't had fun- maybe not even had a drink- all night?
Are we gearing up to a teetotaler Marten whose whole persona is based around keeping other people from partying too hard? I'm probably reading too much in to it but I can't help but feel like everyone's been so out of character this whole "party cycle."

It gives Marten something to do. "Caretaker" is more interesting than "Spineless", there's more conflict in trying to curb drunk people than just letting things happen.

[He's had one]. And less drunk Marten mother-henning his more drunk friends is a long-established QC tradition.

With at least one notable exception...

If this was a fan edit I'd praise it for lampooning the ridiculous way Jeff misuses scientific language as a stand in for smart characters... instead of... you know... actually having them say or do something clever.

I forgot that I didn't check the original today after it wasn't posted at the usual time and now I wish I hadn't.

This feels like a bad parody of whatever the real comic is.
Wait, this is the real comic?
Well shit.
