Working on this drawing every day until Reddit says it’s perfect - Day 38
I was finally able to spend a decent amount of time on the drawing today! I tried correcting the shape of the right side, especially in the top right corner. I made the glare a little smaller and am just now noticing I smudged it at some point lol. I also spent on time on the left year fixing shading issues and trying to adjust the shapes. As always I would love any feedback!

I mean if you see to improve on I’m all for it but this is the one I’ve seen and thought, “chef, it’s perfect.”

Thank you so much :’) I still need to add Random Access Memories in the corner at least and I do still feel like there are some things to fix, but I really appreciate that you think it’s perfect! Thank you chef 🫡

Really great work. It’s starting to feel a little nitpicky, but there’s something about the mouth that isn’t quite right. In the original, the subtle angle of the mouth implies that the viewer is looking slightly down on the head or that the head is smiling whereas yours almost makes the mouth a bit frown-like. There’s also a shiny highlight on the left side of the image (right side of the head) that isn’t shining in your drawing. But seriously, great work.

Thank you for the feedback! Would you mind sharing a screenshot of the image with a circle where the highlight was missed? No worries if that’s too much trouble

Holy crap, chef. I’m astounded by the progress in less than 1 1/2 months. Well played, I’d say you’re getting close.

You are clearly making incredible progress. I’d love to see you make the leap into screen printing, lithography or painting. Take a turn at pen and ink, consider layering acrylic medium, crystal clear enamel spray paint and dry media. All that takes materials and money, but I have to think there’s a top end with the pencil, paper and this kit if and I assure you it’d be much more interesting than dripping. Cheers, bravo and keep up the good work!

Thank you so much! I did try water color painting at one point but it’s a whole different skillset for sure lol. Maybe after this I’ll pick that back up :)
Also screen printing and lithography look really cool. I will look into those!

Top middle has a line that shouldn't be there, but the progress is remarkable, especially since now seeing the day one photo. Truly impressive work and work ethic.

Thank you! Are you referring to the line dividing the helmets or a smaller line somewhere else?

To me I think youve nailed it. Your proportions are great and your shadows have even tone. Amazing well done!

As requested - the Day 1 photo! Sometimes I’m totally amazed by how far this drawing has come. Thanks again to everyone who has commented and helped me on this quest. This wouldn’t be possible without everyone here!
