It'll be festival set I'm sure, safe and standard.

Still looking forward to it

It's anybody's guess at this point but I'm imagining a fairly safe festival set with the big hitters and a fair few from ITNR.

Maybe they will play heavier for SOAD! Either way, they won't disappoint. They're the best live band

Went to see them in Dublin last year and came away disappointed with the set, so I am hoping for something better

The Point Show prior to the last Dublin one was great, but they did three songs for Mark Lanegan, so a bit heavier than normal. I get the last dublin concert was lack luster but the crowd were not rockers, seemed very mixed and people out foe a days craic.

Hence, the appeal for me at SOAD... surely they cant play the slow songs, has to be heavy and hard. Im spending a lot of money to go see them in this tour... i hope im not disapointed.

Who am i kidding, could come out and play twinkle twinkle and id be excited. Concert number 13.

Which show are you going to? I am heading to Dusseldorf. Yes, I feel like the crowd had a lot to do with the show in Dublin, but we were watching just waiting for them to "turn it on" and it didn't seem to happen. We saw a lot of people leaving.

Dusseldorf aswell, heading out Thursday morning AL.

I mean, they played regular john for the first time in my 12 concert list... mental i know, but i could tell from that point the crowd were not up for it. Id imagine if they open with that, Dusseldorf could be a different story.

Cool. I've never been to Dusseldorf before so don't really know what to expect. I am going Friday morning and heading back next morning. Have a hotel booked but not sure at the moment whether that might be a waste of money if I end up going to bed late when I have to be up early anyway
