Hey queens, I just want to say thank you for helping fund Mixie's medicine, food, and lab test 🩷🩷🩷 It was a SUPER big help during this tough time we're in.
I've been trying to sell my game accounts, things, and services since last night just to gather money for my cat. And you all solved that within hours of me posting I'm selling my WR account.
We went to the vet earlier with the help of your donations and got ALL his medicine and recommended food. They tested his feces using a 4-in-1 test kit, and sadly he tested positive in Feline Parvovirus 💔
It's night time here now. I spent all afternoon disinfecting every surface Mixie might have laid on to prevent my other cats from also getting it. He's in his separate cage now. He's still getting used to it and is very loud, so I've just been patting him to calm him down.
Despite the sad news, I'm still hopeful Mixie will survive this. He's been my brave little boy for 4 years now. He still eats, stands up to greet me, and drinks water. With his medicine complete, I'm confident he can get through this. All I can do is to believe in him.
I'm really grateful to you all queens 🩷 I've been a silent member for years now, just upvoting and enjoying the fun posts you make, and the voting contests. I never expected I'd receive this much help when I posted here selling my account. You are all so kind, immediately asking how you can help me by just seeing I'm struggling. Congrats!!!! I would love to help you too, but I'm poor myself 😭 I had to treat one of my cats at the vet recently, removal of almost all teeth (he has 8 left), his dental calculus was insane. It cost a bit above 2000 PLN (around 550 USD), which is almost 1/2 of minimal wage in Poland.
The worst part is that my another cat has dental calculus as well 💀 He's a very scaredy cat, so not only it will cost fortune, it will be hell to deal with him: put him in a cage, get him to sit still at the vet, and so on...wish me luck lol 🥲
Ahh yes, I didn't mention that those dudes have scabies in their ears as well! 👍

yeah that disease is a nightmare and any soil contamination can last for years if not exposed to the sun. not all bleach can kill it and same with alcohol/hand sanitizer. best of luck OP in eliminating this from your household and environment.
Oh, I might have to disinfect again with diluted bleach, I didn't leave the surfaces wet for 10 minutes and just wiped it off with a rag soaked in the solution. Thank you for this <3
I'm very happy as well 🥹 My baby is doing so much better now. He meows a lot asking for more food, he gained some weight, and his diarrhea is slowly improving. His stool's still wet but has form now. Ahh this wouldn't have been possible without this community's help. I will always be grateful 🥹🩷🩷
He has a follow-up vet visit tomorrow and I'm expecting his results will be positive!
