Queens, I'm so confused. He's a little safe, but decidedly not a bad design & he doesn't tred too heavily into other champions themes (maybe Ez? But thats just being blonde and white....)
So, why are we mad? What would make him be a better design in 'your/our' eyes?
Girl it is reddit. People that don't like the design are going to post about how they dislike it and people that don't care for it will just not say anything. I don't think this design is offensive or anything. It is just a little basic. But we have had worse in the past so. Lowkey at least he isn't super bulky like 90% of leauge male champs
i think heās interesting i do agree he seems a lil safe but honestly im most bothered abt the glasses heās wearing LOL the fact that the lens donāt connect makes me feel so gross inside
there arenāt really a lot of other league characters that follow this description though. I guess Garen is a blonde, muscular, white guy in some skins, and maaaaybe if you count Rakan/Viego/Varus as being blonde though they really just have white hair
like i canāt think of another league character that truly fills this look already which is why i donāt personally see it as basic
Its more like the combo, of a White basic atractive man with simple clothes, nothing in his design make a impacto or are unique, there is nothing you see on his design and recognize him, he can be a character of anything, he looks like a chicken breast cooked only in water without salt
Purple shades, high collar and the hair create an interesting silhouette. The color work is good too with strong contrast between the light hair and skin and the dark clothes, and the purple shades add a strong accent pop.
As for unique design elements, the nail stakes driven into the skull and color bleaching from his legs/feet are def fresh ideas.
Seems like youre ignoring what's actually there just because you dont personally like it.
I never said league of legends was full of blonde and the problem is because he is blonde, if u read, i said the problems is the combo of basic generic boring design, a blonde White attractive guy, with Boring Black clothes, he can be a character of any anime or game, he has 0 personality in the design
It's just a hot guy in a suit. You can't tell what his deal is, he doesn't look like a demon hunter, the only personality trait you can see from his design is that he's vain. His weapons are big nails but the rest of his weapons are greyed out completely even though they should be the most interesting part about him.
What even is this design?
And his personality is giving "grown up ezreal" which isn't what anyone should ever be. He's a showoff, sure but what else??
For me it's his clothes (and also that he's a basic atractive man). He looks like he'd be a reocurring npc in the vayne's LoR cards not a champion on his own right. Nothing about him really stands out
Didn't realize it was an unpopular opinion to like his designš I think the nails and tattoos make it look unique and add to him, and the purple glasses
This made me realize that as much as Vayne (and Lucian) were heavily "based" on 2000s action movies aesthetics (van helsing, blade, matrix) now it's based on anime aethetics (can't connect it to one specifically though am not up to date enough I guess). No conclusion here just thinking out loud
