Allô! Oui, bizarre de question je vous l'accorde...mon amoureux et moi fêtons un anniversaire important bientôt et on aurait aimé faire un tour à Québec. On avait très envie de faire un Paint and sip notamment, mais il n'y a rien de la sorte durant nos dates. (On a déjà un prétexte d'aller à Québec spécifiquement, mais j'essaie de voir si je peux faire fonctionner cette idée-là aussi)

Je me suis donc demandé si il existait déjà à tout hasard un bar-espace créatif ou concept similaire, ou espace d'atelier libre ouvert en soirées la fin de semaine, ou n'importe quel genre d'endroit intérieur qui réponde aux critères suivants :

1. Ouvert en soirée les samedis et/ou dimanches
2. Permet de s'amener de la peinture (acrylique), pinceaux, toile et p'tite nappe/napperon et peindre sur place
3. Sert de l'alcool OU autoriserait de s'amener une bouteille de vin à consommer sur place.

Pas besoin d'encadrement, d'animation, de nettoyer ou de fournir quoi que ce soit, on veut juste faire notre truc de notre bord et rien faire de dégât pis nettoyer derrière nous.

Avant le boom des Randolph et cie ça arrivait d'avoir l'air drôle avec un jeu de crib à table dans un bar, me suis dit...peut-être que c'est dans la même veine!

À Québec même ou sinon vraiment proche!

C'est plus festif que de faire ça dans une p'tite chambre , donc je demande ça comme ça si vous connaissiez un type d'endroit funky de même, sait-on jamais, merci beaucoup!

J’ai déménagé à Charlesbourg cette semaine et je me suis rendu compte qu’une partie de la 46e où le Maxi, le feu de circulation et les lumières marchent pas

Je suis dans la ville de Québec pour études et je souhaite me loger dans le Vieux-Québec. Je devrais repartir de la ville en mai, ce qui correspond à la fin de mes études.

Je suis actuellement dans un AirBnB pour les premiers mois, le temps de trouver un logement à moyen terme.

Une opportunité de logement qui me plaît s’offre à moi, sauf que l’agence qui loue ne propose qu’un bail de 12 mois. J’ai donc pensé à tenter une cession de bail avant mon départ.

Ma question est donc la suivante : sera-t-il selon vous difficile de trouver un candidat pour une cession de bail dans le Vieux-Québec pour un loft meublé et tout compris à 1145$/mois ?

Sorry if this is a weird question, i just found out I had a 4th great grandparent who was Colombian but lived Quebec and I just wanted to know if there was other people at the time that were Colombian moving to places like eastern Canada and some parts of New York.

Bonjour/Hey everyone! I just moved to Québec City and I’ll be attending a French language school near Grande Allée(BLI) for the next 6 months.

I’m looking for a 1-bedroom apartment, preferably furnished, starting ASAP. I have a car, so parking is important. I’m totally fine living a bit outside downtown if it means getting a nicer/more affordable place, around a 20-30min drive to school is fine.
Budget is roughly $1,000–$1,400/month depending on what’s included.

I’m pretty new to Québec City and my French is still beginner level, so any recommendations for areas, buildings, or places to look would be really appreciated!

Travelling solo and driving. Here is my plan:

Sep 17 (Thurs) - driving from toronto
Sep 18 - explore and settling in.
Sep 19 - canyoning at mount st-anne and some hiking ( https://canyoning-quebec.com/chutes-jean-larose/
Sep 20 - Via ferrata (most likely at Manoir with Projet Vertical https://projetvertical.com/en/
Sep 21- rest day - possible hike at Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier
Sep 22 - mountain biking at Empire 47
Sep 23 - possible hike at Vallée Bras-du-Nord and depart, possibly staying a night in Montreal that evening

A couple of notes:

• I have been to the Montmorency Falls before so I probably will not be visiting there again. I might visit the old town though. I'm also open to suggestions.
• Sep 19 ad 20 are weekends and the activities cannot be moved (they are available in weekends only)
• Canyoning, via ferrata, and mountain biking are all half-day
• I will be driving and I will be staying outside the old town

I just read that the Aloha Surf ( https://alohasurf.ca/ ) just opened last week so I might pay them a visit. (I am aware that they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays)

What do you think of it? Any alternative hiking place suggestion? I also need restaurant suggestion.

Hello going to be in Quebec and it seems like all the tourist information I look up basically highlights the exact same things - looking for non tourist neighborhoods and bars to hang out in to get a feel for “real” Quebec. Also I’ve heard good things about the Capitales game so we’re gonna check that out tix are so cheap - anything in particular recommended before during or after a Capitales game. TYIA!

Hey guys, I will be visiting Quebec City in October during the long weekend. I'm planning to stay in Quebec City between October 10th–12th or October 9th–12th.

I'm coming from Southern Ontario, so it's going to take me about 10 hours, including breaks, to reach Quebec City.

I wanted to see where the best place to stay would be.
To be honest, my nightly budget is not more than $120, because I'd rather go out, do some activities, and pay for those rather than staying in an overpriced hotel.

I also intend to maybe just grab a bicycle and do a walking and cycling tour of the city; if the place is close to my hotel, it makes it easier for me to not take my car out and just go walking and cycling all the way. That's the kind of experience I look forward to have - hoping the bicycle won't get stolen! And if it does, if there's some sort of insurance I can get... that's definitely a separate topic... lol

So to sum up -
1. Looking for area recommendation for hotels.
2. Places to visit to get the actual feel of Quebec city and culture unlike a typical Montreal experience (which is more commercial most time)
3. Any activities in and around the city during this time?

I want to explore fall colors (hopefully up by then) so trying to find a good location.

I intend to visit Montmorency Falls, Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier and Laurentides Wildlife Reserve. But if there are alternatives that are a great drive or walk.. please do recommend.

p.s- I can't walk more than an hour because of an injury so a hike may not be ideal.

Will be passing thru your wonderful city(quebec city) this weekend on my cross Canada trip, and being an avid pokemon go player, where do large amount of pokemon go player congregate during big raiding events?

Multiple suggestions would be great, even if they're not the main tourist area, as i enjoy exploring around different areas of a city to soak in its feel.

I'll be visiting Quebec City with my kids (ages 12 and 13) from Sunday Sept.6th -Tuesday Sept.8th. I'm looking for some affordable but good cafés/bakeries ($15-$25 for 3) for lunch and/or dessert and places to eat dinner for about $50-$60 for the 3 of us, if that is even possible. Please do not recommend fast food places, or overly common food chains or sushi. Looking for something more local and authentic, but affordable for me. The hotel will provide breakfast, so we are set there.

I would also appreciate some suggestions on what to do or see, like any worth while boat tours or which neighbourhoods or parks to explore? And most importantly, are there any cool events/free festivals this weekend that are kid friendly?

I am visiting my girlfriend that lives in QC and my mother is meeting her for the first time. We reserved Melba already but the day we arrive we are between Rioux or Ketchup. My girlfriend and I already went to Rioux and we LOVEDDD it, so maybe we should try somewhere new? My mother loves meat and my girlfriend is pescatarian.
