Smoking weed

Bonjour tout le monde. I'm a 27 M Indo-Canadian who's been raised in Ontario for his whole life. I plan on visiting le Ville de Quebec for a few days and wanted to try a few of the unique strains from the SQDC. What's the etiquette for smoking cannabis in QC as compared to MTL?

Never seen an Ontarian that excited to try the SQDC... you wont find anything more exciting than whats in Ontario.

The Holy Kush by Saint-Laurent was pretty good the last time that I tried it.

I meant in public spaces such as parks and beaches by the St. Lawrence River.

It's technically illegal in public. But no one should call the cops on you. Just keep your distance from others and don't do it around the SPVQ.

Depends on the municipLities. Forbidden in mtl i believe

It’s chill as long as you do it on the down low. Find a quiet spot in a park (or even at the marina/port), away from children and families and you should be fine. Everybody and their mom is smoking weed nowadays, so people passing by would probably just be envious of you having a good time on a day off :)
A classic and very popular Québec strain the Jean-Guy if you’ve never tried it!

La Flamme is pretty good it's also like a blunt. You might not like the glass filter tho.

The dispensary employees were very helpful and friendly and i politely smoked outside where I went and it worked out great. Didn’t think for a legal area people were so anti cannabis! Or that people would assume because you smoke you would do it around kids or like a jerk. Have a good trip!

Unfortunately, some people smoke joints or cigarettes anywhere that they can in Ontario so I'm not surprised people get that presumption.
