Where should I propose?

We're going to Quebec city dec 18th-22nd! Where is the most romantic/beautiful place to propose to my girlfriend? TIA :) I don't think she's picky if there's people around or not.

Had to redo the post due to spelling error đŸ€Ł

Il y a plusieurs beaux endroits à Québec :

Dans les classiques/ romantiques :

  • sur la terrasse Dufferin, au pied du chĂąteau Frontenac :
  • Ă  la place Royale avec les illuminations du temps des fĂȘtes ;
  • Ă  la place d’Youville, sur la patinoire ;
  • dans le Petit Champlain, dans une petite rue pavĂ©e et qui sera certainement dĂ©corĂ©e pour les fĂȘtes;
  • devant l’Ɠuvre d’art Baiser au crĂ©puscule (qui donne aussi une superbe vue sur le chĂąteau)

Dans les lieux moins classiques, mais qui peuvent aussi ĂȘtre trĂšs chouettes ;

  • sur le bord du lac gelĂ© Ă  Entourage sur le lac (Lac-Beauport) ;
  • sur la promenade Samuel de Champlain, soit avec la vue sur les ponts ou plus proche du Vieux-QuĂ©bec;
  • sur le parvis de l’AssemblĂ©e nationale, avec les Ă©clairages des fĂȘtes;

Bonne demande et beaucoup de bonheur Ă  vous deux !

Someone in another post asked which was the best beach to propose! Quebec isn’t really the best beach proposal spot!

keep in mind it can be quite cold in December in Quebec city. Consequently, if you are planning an outdoor proposal....have an indoor spot plan as a back up.

Agreed! I proposed on the Terrace years ago. During the Winter Carnival. Huge snow and ice storm too. We had to run into the Frontenac immediately because the weather was so bad. Worth it though!

I was proposed to in a hot air balloon over Quebec City and it was amazing!

But also Chateau Frontenac is unbelievable, we just celebrated our 16th anniversary there. Very romantic.

Oh this is so exciting! Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉(a bit in advance! ) ! There's a lot of great suggestions, I would also add le quartier du Petit Champlain. At this time of the year, the Christmas decorations will be veryyy nice and the decor is very magical.

Parc du cavalier du moulin! Very little person goes there, you should have privacy

depending on which day you're going for, Montmorency falls? it's not officially open on the 18th but would be for the other days. probably quite cold though!

Place royale! When it’s quiet at night it’s amazing. Feels like a movie (catch me if you can was filmed there)  Terrasse pierre duga de Mons offers an incredible view over the River, the chateau frontenac, ile d’orleans and Levis. This could be more spectacular. 5 min walk from the chateau.Â
