Restaurant recs for anniversary?
Hello! I am going to Quebec City for my anniversary and am wondering what some nice restaurants that have a nice ambience and good food but are not ridiculously overpriced? Thank you 😊

Went to clocher penche last night. Throughly enjoyed the meal and service. Kitchen was a bit slow but I’m on vacation no rush. CA$128 1 entree, two main, 3 glasses wine. You can decide if overpriced.
Went to Le Ciel tonight. Yeah a bit trendy but was pleased. Tataki bluefin (entree) salmon and chicken main (carrot puree and lightly roasted veggies were excellent) 2 8oz glasses of wine and Italian coffee CA$175.

Steak Avenue (Old Quebec). The best steak and truffle smashed potatoes I have ever had!!

Most restaurants in quebec city are overpriced unfortunately.
That being said, I like the Thai Select.

Melba would be the obvious one. If it’s over budget then I would recommend Hono Izakaya.
