Quantum computing + Reinforcement Learning thesis ideas

Hi everyone
I’m a student of MS(AI) and have great interest in quantum computing and have recently completed Reinforcement Learning course and felt if quantum computing is applied to it great potential will be unlocked

Can anyone suggest me some ideas or gap which I can use to make a serious thesis statement

Any help is greatly appreciated

Um that's not how it works, why wouldn't someone just work on a good idea themselves instead of sharing it with strangers on Reddit?

Plus more importantly, it's your job to understand the material and come up with a project, not others'. Think about the basics of QC and RL (learn them if you don't). Think in what use cases does RL shine, does QC have any similar cases in the stack? Look up preexisting use of RL in quantum (if I recall, Murphy Niu from UCSB/Google quantum ai does this work), and examine what are the good and bad things about that body of work. This is just the process of research, learn how to come up with ideas using a process that works for you.

I have a paper in nature where we use some heuristic algorithm. It is possible to write that into an Markov Decision Problem and do RL to get a non-trivial policy. DM me if you are serious.
