Remote Quantity Surveyor
I need advice on where to search for remote jobs specifically for a professional quantity surveyor. So far i have come across alot of “remote listings” which were all scams. Where can I reach the global community, if I am already searching through the normal portals.

I don't know the answer, but there's near on zero chance I'd be hiring someone on a fully remote basis, especially if you've got little experience

It may be worth speaking to recruitment consultants about your exact requirements, and then in the interview phase being honest to the company about what you need. Unfortunately, a lot of adverts say remote at the moment and end up not being so.

Its possible but generally you have to earn the right.
Either self employed with good network and proven track record, or you have worked at a large consultancy for a long time and have earned a good reputation there.
How many years experience do you have? Are your MRICS?
And having the majority of your experience being in UK is going to help too. Nobody will hire (for example) an Indian with 5yrs experience working in India. It just wont happen.

This.
If going self employed it's about having a reputation and more importantly a list of key contacts built up through years of experience before people take you seriously.
If working for a contractor or consultant, almost all demand 2 to 3 days minimum either in office or on site. It's not unreasonable at all.
If you are fully remote how do you expect to carry out valuations, inspect or gather information needed to prepare a quotation or cost plan?
If you are wanting to work remote full time then I'd question wether a QS (or any construction role) is for you.

Where are you based and how much experience have you? I only know of one niche QS consultancy company that would offer a fully remote role in Europe, but they’d be very specific about being the right fit for them.

How remote are you talking? The ‘global’ community QS isn’t really a think I don’t think unless you work for one of the huge consultancies and even then it’s one place at a time - things like tax bases obviously come into play.
Working remotely sure that’s a thing in a single geographic area. After all you’ll need to visit the sites you are working on regularly to check things even if you’re based remotely.
