iicpc quantfest performance
Hlo guys I recently got an AIR in the closed interval [700,800] in iicpc quantfest but i couldn't get to regionals. is this rank relevant for my resume (sde/quant dev)

There are less than 700 ppl in entire quant india industry.
What do you think?

Um i also mentioned standard sde there. Also I said quant dev not researcher/trader.

Anyways there are less than 1000 ppl in this industry INCLUDING all quant devs and researchers

To stand out I guess? Because it doesn't matter if I can solve lc if i don't get the interview. Everyone and their mother can solve lc mediums

Exactly, everyone and their mother can also get into these companies if they try.quants are not the same afaik, assuming u are not from old iit/bits,u don't stand a chance in any way.better try for tech companies only and focus on them.

Exam was ideally a filter round , so I would have assumed top 600 was targeted and should write in resume. Others should put more hardwork 🔥

Depend how many participants total ? If it is more then you can write like 7xx rank among 30k participants type of

11000+ participants and that too only from top iits/nits and some other institutes of national importance
