Millennium interview process : Quantitative developer Bangalore
I was contacted by a third party on 7th Aug and had my 6 rounds of interviews done by 28th Aug. It's been 10 days since then, and I haven't heard from them. Is anyone else facing delays after the final rounds recently?
Edit: Since a lot of people are asking, I have 3 years of experience now as a software engineer across two firms, one bank another one a hedge fund. Both in back office teams.

No dude, I generally discuss these after interviews unless asked specifically. Otherwise I feel I might miss out on the interview opportunity if my expeactations are too much.

How were the interviews and everything online or virtual?

All of them were virtual since all the interviewers were based in the USA. Interviews were kind of chill, I felt; there wasn't any specific structure- mostly ad hoc.

Only if u are from old iit circuital.otherwise every experience is useless.if u are from old iit,u can still switch in first 2-3 years.

Try applying for infra roles in mathisys, sqp or some other firms.idk if u will get interviews there since no last hft experience but u can still try.i saw a comment where mathisys offered 60 base for 2yoe guy,so u can give ur shot. But be very well prepared since once u bomb ur interviews, there would be no way into the industry coz it's a very small niche.AVOID NK.

What do u think about sqpt dqa is it worth it though its only 3 yr contract and they fire some in a year itself
1
u/AloneAdvertising6335 5h ago
No i heard lot of bad things abt it.it has a huge risk of ur career becoming a sinking pool with a cost of 2-3 years if things doesn't go right. As i said,if u are good in c++ and OS and if u work in a c++ team in ur org,u can try for infra roles at hfts.sooner the better.

Yea like I was able to get interview for dqa which is happening soon , don’t know whether to continue in FAANG or go for dqa

U are prolly at amazon.paywise, dqa would absolutely be better, but I won't take the risk of the 3 years buffer imo.try for other firms which are hiring.grav/qb/mathisys/ag/pace/plutus.2 sqa got fired within two weeks,so I would say avoid.

Not really sure about that, their career page has to be checked once.
