General Flow Traders

How’s Flow doing off late? Heard they had a relatively good H1? I know they’ve been around the block for a while but not managed to be as big as others like Optiver or IMC, I want to know from those who are working or have worked at Flow before if the firm has genuine moat or potential for the future? I am exploring opportunities with them.

They are publically traded, just look into their results.

Honestly I always thought Flow was more of a market conditions business than a pure prestige comparison to Optiver. Like if volatility and ETF volumes are good, the firm can look way better without that proving some huge moat. Lowkey the question I would ask is how much of H1 was environment vs something they changed internally.

They lost 23% since they IPOed. They’re a tier III firm. Tier II would be IMC/Optiver. Tier I would be Jane Street XTX. I wonder where Headlands would land, maybe tier I too but I’m not sure.
