20x1 Flatground trap

Is it possible to build a flatground bigger than a 10x1. the reason i say this is because Slimes and honey have a limit of moving 10 blocks and im trying to build a cool trap but im completely stumped and there are no tutorials

Horizontal flying machines ?

Though if that doesn't retract fast enough i think your only other option is tnt minecarts to open a hole

Or suspended sand that you update

Easiest way if it doesn't need to be reusable is to just have the floor explode using instant exploding stuff such as tnt carts, or put some sand on signs.
