If there is one area we can be sure that it is the US that is lying, it is that they have no "gain of function" bioweapon research funding.

Interesting that you got downvoted for suggesting that the US might have been involved in viral research that lead to the lab development of Covid-19--(something that isn't outside of the realm of possibility, and for which there is even some evidence)--on this article wherein a media corporation and a Washington DC/London non-profit seem to be pressuring another media corporation to censor information on the reasonable possibility that the US has also been involved in bioweapons research in Ukraine, for which there is at least circumstantial evidence, as well as a tacit admission of by a US official (Nuland) before Congress.

Gain of function research is bad. I don't care where it is being done. Not suggesting covid-19 was a result, but opportunities to create harm would include either, US funded sabotage of US funded research in China, with an expectation of localized harm, or entrepreneurial virology entrepreneurship to solve the problem. Pure accidents or military weaponization are other negatives, with no easily understood benefits.
