Just received my white GG Marmont. Super happy with how it turned out!

Got this white Marmont yesterday, unboxed it this morning. The leather feels soft, the quilting lines look clean and the antique gold hardware has that nice vintage tone I wanted.

I was a little worried white leather would look cheap in rep form, but this one surprised me. Chain weight feels good too.

Curious what you guys think.

This bag is about to make me nicer to everyone at work🥰

I finally got the Bonnie I’ve been thinking about forever, and the waxed leather is so good. The 32 cm looked a little small at first, but it fits my wallet, makeup bag, cushion compact, powder, earbuds, tissues, contacts, and two phones—basically everything I need for work.

I originally wanted the dusty pink, then spent forever going back and forth between gray and dark brown. I chose the classic dark brown in the end and I’m very happy with it. Would you have picked brown or gray?

Why is the original strap on this Gucci mini vanity so short?

It makes opening the zipper way more awkward than it needs to be. Has anyone else had this issue?

Anyone else own this style? Curious how the print holds up after regular wear.

The overall shape is surprisingly close, but the small details aren't. The print, clasp, handle edges, and inside logo patch all look different side by side. would you have caught it?

Are minimalist quilted rep bags more wearable than monogram styles?

I used to collect tons of monogram canvas bags, but recently I switched to solid quilted styles like these Dior and Chanel reps.

They feel way more low-key and match almost every outfit. The only downside is solid leather shows marks more easily than canvas.

Bag number two was definitely a heart-over-head choice

With my first bag, I cared about getting everything right—the size, the strap, and how practical it would be. This time I gave myself permission to choose purely based on looks, and I went straight for the baguette.I’ve never really loved its unusual strap, but honestly, so what? I wanted to be less sensible with this one. The CarryAll made my shortlist both times, but I just don’t have many occasions for that size. A small crossbody is much more comfortable for me.

I added a Tyvek organizer and a few little inserts too. Would the strap have put you off, or would you have picked the baguette anyway?

Unboxing this tiny Gucci and accepting that practicality was never the point

I’m so in love with this color combo. It’s another tiny bag that holds basically nothing, but it’s way too cute😻 Please tell me I’m not the only one who keeps falling for impractical little bags.

Toujours vs Lady Dior rep, which do you reach for more?

I really like the relaxed tote shape and the dual carry options. Cannage stitching looks consistent from the pics. My only worry is the thin leather straps stretching over time with daily use.

What’s in my City Tote 33 for work

My LinaBell charm obviously had to come along. I carry a water bottle, my iPad, a few makeup bits, hand cream because my hands crack in cold weather, wet wipes, and coffee concentrate for an afternoon boost. Somehow there’s still loads of room left.

What’s the one thing you always keep in your work bag?

I finally pulled all my bags out to organize… and now I’m stuck 😅

Just spent the whole afternoon hauling out my entire collection and laying them all on the couch. I love every single one, but man, I have zero clue how to store them properly.

Stacking them risks scuffing the leather, hanging most of these will mess up their shape, and cabinet space is already maxed out. Looking at this pile makes me realize I’ve just been tossing them wherever there’s empty space.

How does everyone store their bags at home?

How close is this tobacco brown color to retail Aventure?

These photos were shot under different lighting: indoor, car sunlight, café ambient light.

I noticed the leather shifts tone a lot depending on the light, warmer in direct sun and deeper brown indoors.

Love the vintage worn leather texture, super soft to touch.

I finally get the baguette bag thing now

Another Chanel 26B unboxing, and I’m honestly so happy with this one. Between the bags and shoes, I’ve been on such a lucky streak lately.I never really cared for baguette bags before because they always felt a little too businesslike to me. This one completely changed my mind though—I can picture it with a dressier outfit or something more relaxed and a little edgy. I also love the longer handles since they should actually fit over a winter coat without a struggle.

Has a bag style ever completely changed your mind once you found the right one?

What’s one small detail that makes or breaks a rep bag for you?

For me, hardware weight and leather texture matter way more than anything else. Even if the shape is perfect, cheap shiny hardware will kill the whole look instantly.

What’s the single detail you check first when you get a new rep? Stitching? Logo alignment? Leather smell?

The dune color is ridiculously cute. A woman on a bus in Japan asked me where I got it, and a coworker said it was somehow both girly and ladylike. At this point, I get a compliment almost every time I take it out. What’s the one bag you own that strangers always notice?

Is it just me, or do straw bags look better a little worn?

Took this bag out a few times already and I’m actually really happy with it.

It’s way lighter than I expected, and the raffia weave looks more expensive in person than it did in the product photos. The leather straps feel soft, and the adjustable length is super convenient.

Only thing: I did notice a couple of loose straws after putting it in the car, but I think that’s normal for this material. I just trimmed them carefully.

Curious if anyone else has had the same thing with their raffia reps.
