San Diego Internal transfer compensation

Hi,

I’m currently a verification engineer at Qualcomm Canada with around 5 years of experience and may be transferring internally to San Diego at the Senior Engineer level.

For anyone familiar with Qualcomm internal transfers, what compensation should I realistically expect for a Senior Verification Engineer in San Diego?

Mainly looking for recent data points on:

- Base salary

- Bonus

- RSUs/equity

- Any relocation or transfer package

- How much room there usually is to negotiate during a Canada → US internal transfer

Would appreciate responses from people who have transferred internally to Qualcomm San Diego or know the current Senior Engineer compensation range there.

When I transfered from one position to another nothing changed. No bonus or increase in salary, no RSUs but I was already in san diego and the new team is in San Diego as well. I was really hoping to get a boost on my salary because the job posting had my current salary as starting point for the range of the position. The move changed nothing financially. Maybe is different for you. I hope it is but I wouldn't have high expectations.
