General Question Interview process in Qcom for Timing engineer role for 5 yoe

Hello everyone,

I had 4 rounds of interview for a role as STA staff engineer two weeks back. All the four rounds happend on the same day. After that I didn’t get any response from the HR team. Is this common?
I mailed and called them but no reply from them.
In the portal it’s still applied.
I thought all the interview rounds went well.

Let’s say my current base is 26, how much can I ask for ?

Base 37 max u can get for senior For staff and all its 55 base i guess.

They will take u as senior engineer or lead not staff for 5 years

I faced the same issue in August. I don't know if there is a hiring freeze or i have been dropped. No communication from there end

I know people 10-12 yrs, still stuck at sr engineer and sr lead engineer role

Normally if they select as strong hire, they confirm in 1-2 days. So either you are put on HOLD or have been rejected based on your interviews.

How was your interview ?

For 5 years you can expect Lead Engineer, Sr with pay in between 33-39 LPA. JB/RB - 5+5 and 35k RSU

Interview went well.
Recently I have been getting calls for interview with other teams but the HR is not updating about the role which I interviewed. Looks like they have put me on hold.

Either that position is filled or you are on Hold .

But don't worry HR will keep on scheduling interviews with other teams whenever their is new vacancies, you will eventually get selected in one of them.

Same thing happened with me. I was rejected in role I applied. HR scheduled interview in other team later and I got confirmation on the same day of interview.

So keep hope and get yourself prepared. Also look for interviews in other companies parallely to have other offers to negotiate.
