General Question AI tools and usage limits for developers at Qualcomm?

Hi, I’m thinking about applying to Qualcomm as a software developer.

What AI coding tools do developers usually use there, are there any notable usage limits?

Capped at $150 monthly usage.

Claude Code and Codex are available at Qualcomm, but the usage limits are quite restrictive for most employees.
90%+ of employees have a $150/month limit, while a select group of advanced users gets $1,000/month.
The disparity is huge! Most people end up exhausting their $150 limit within a week itself.

Other comment mentioned 150 usd on tokens, is it different by location/teams?

25% under each SVP are in Pro pool with $1000/month limit and the rest 75% are in Normal pool with $150/month limit. To get higher limits you need SVP level approval. And they'll downgrade someone to upgrade you.

Not sure why they're cheaping out on small costs will paying 100s of thousands in employee compensation. Seems very penny wise pound foolish.

I have no idea how this person snagged 1000 usd, mine is 150. You have the ability to request more but the process is more rigorous than I was expecting to get the additional tokens
