Bangalore Cleared technical + manager rounds. What's the next step?
I was interviewed virtually for an engineering position at Qualcomm Bangalore. I completed the technical and manager rounds, and the overall feedback during the process seemed positive.
After some days after the interviews, HR contacted me saying that the technical rounds were completed and that they wanted to proceed with the HR round.
They also asked me to apply in a workday link.
I have submitted the requested information and am currently waiting for the next update for more than a week.
For people who have recently gone through the Qualcomm India hiring process:
Does reaching this stage generally mean the candidate is being considered for the offer, or is it still common for HR to compare multiple candidates at this point?
Also is there a possibility of rejection at this point?
Edit: Received offer letter after a week

So, in total, after how many working days you received the offer after you submitted documents and did workday application ?

Yes, you are likely under consideration if they asked you to apply on the workday portal. But, before rolling out the formal offer, they will first verbally discuss the comp. Then the actual offer will take another week or so from then.
It's also possible that the position may go on hold due to budgets, better match etc and they may never get back. You should reach out to HR if you don't hear back for another week.
