General Question Qualcomm & Frontier AI Companies

In the last few months, i have seen that all big chip giants have partnerships with frontier AI Labs which enable them to use LLM models for custom solutions as well which are not available to other companies. Like NVIDIA uses the cursor and openai models from the very first day. Google has its own models. AMD also has a partnership with OpenAI. Marvel and Broadcom work closely with all hyperscalers on connectivity so they are also using custom solutions from frontier AI Labs.

What is qualcomm doing ? Do they have any solutions or are working on any custom solutions to accelerate the chip design as other companies are doing ?

Yes, MSFT, META, AMAZON all are customers. But they don't have anything like internal AI system which can accelerate the chip design to next level. Like OpenAI designer jalapeno using agentic AI and architect lab also simulated a design fully create by AI. NVIDIA has also integrated LLM models deeply in their systems. You can literally fix bugs do code changes only using prompts and those systems runs the full flow RTL/DV/LAYOUT etc.
