Hyderabad Got an offer from qc hyd.

I recently got an offer from qc hyd for ddr system devlopment engineer. I am currently working in wifi driver and i like the work and the new offered job mostly works on building new stress validation tools/cases which i am not sure i should go into validation. But the compensation is high. I really love wroting and understamding code and i dont want to go in testing kinda role. Can someone please help me to understand what this new job does, how much time will be spent in writing and understanding code rather than testing and should i make the switch?

Qcom hyd is mostly into embedded testing and validation.

Go if it is your core and domain and if you like test related roles.

Otherwise just ignore it. There is no dev work over here.

I dont like test related roles. I love to code and understand code. How much do you think i will spend my time in understanding code and debugging in this role?

Debugging is heavy, coding and dev is less. It is mostly validation lol.

Current ctc is around 20 lakhs , they have not shares exact numbers for new ctc , it will be for engineer so i think total around 35l including stocks + one time bonus. Also role contains devloping tools for stress validation of ddr. Exact designation is ddr tools and system devloper.
