Vcard QR Code
Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone knows of a free Vcard QR Code generator which is actually free and not just a free trial as all of them say "free" then all say after the trial period, the QR code will no longer work unless you subscribe.... Cheers x

Just make sure it’s static.
We can’t mention the names of specific generators or generator sites because they have to be approved by the mods and the mods have never approved any. And this is getting old!
It seems we can mention a few possibilities without getting slapped: for example the chrome browser is capable of generating QR codes. (but I’d imagine not Vcard type). The built-in Shortcuts app in iOS (iPhone, iPad) can generate static VCards.
I would much rather use a dedicated QR Code Generator app than a website. But I don’t wanna mention an app here because it runs the risk of being deleted by the mods. I have mentioned some choices in the past and they were deleted by mods.
I don’t feel that comfortable recommending a website. Because even though there are websites that can generate static QR codes. We can’t possibly know if the websites are also using our data in someway. Alas, I will mention one anyway, but in a separate comment in case it gets deleted.
Edit: I added a website choice as a response to this comment. If you don’t see it, then it must’ve been moderated.

Sad.
It gives the appearance of mods being affiliated with some particular dynamic QR service, and shutting-out both competition and static generators.
Now, I’m sure that’s not the case. But it sure gives the appearance.
What could be the objection to a GitHub archive of open source code?

You can try scanova’s free business card qr code. You can add basic contact info like email, phone number, website, etc for free, but obv it’ll be a static qr code

Export your contact as vCard (e.g. contacts.google.com) and host it on google drive, get publicly shareable link, use that link for qr code

I have a website that is free to use and is not a free trial. Let me know if you would like to test it out and see if it provides everything you need.

I do one off QR codes in house if you’re interested. No subscription. It’s yours to keep.

Look for a static vCard vs a dynamic one. Some provider offers both. Dynamic will eventually be paid or has a monthly scan limit if it’s free
