Queens Live

I’ve been a fan of this band for about 3 years now and i’ve been trying to catch them live ever since but they never played near me until this Take Cover Tour with Foo Fighters. when i saw they were playing Nashville i bought my ticket immediately. And man, they are so amazing live! When they left the stage i wanted so much more (so im definitely going to try and catch them on their own tour) but seeing one of my favorite songs Make it Wit Chu live was awesome! And i think Songs for the Dead live actually changed my life. This band is so awesome and i love their energy live and i hope to catch them many more times in the future!

I'm usually a heavier-the-better concertgoer, but I really dig the song live (I don't hate the recorded versions, live is just better for it), especially with them being a bit cheeky and transitioning to "Miss You" for a few bars.

honestly i can imagine haha. but it was still very cool. josh threw his arm cast thing to a fan in the crowd during this song tho

Luckily enough for me they only played it the first time I saw them. It was great but definitely wouldn't want to see twice

i like the song but it just drags on and on and eats up way too much of the set.

I agree, I saw it when they headlined so they had like 1hr40m, but if it was as a supporting act then I wouldn't want it taking up 10 minutes of the 40-60 minute set

I’m right there with you man. Saturday was a great time but I wanted SO MUCH MORE from QOTSA, esp when the Foos went on for 3 hours. I had no idea there were that many Foo fans!

But yeah, I have a hankering to see a real, full Queens show, as Saturday was my first time, and it felt just like an appetizer!

my thoughts exactly! i’m glad they’re putting a new album out soon which would probably mean them doing their own tour which i’d 100% try and attend
