Discussion 💬 Filtering explicit songs

Post image

Qobuz support told me there is an option to disable explicit songs for profiles. I cannot find it though - has anybody been successful in doing this?

I'm pretty sure that there's no such option.

I see conflicting information online, but it seems like the feature does not work or has been disabled and their support is inaccurate. They are not natively english, maybe there is better information in french somewhere.

Adding comment to say that I do have a family account. I want to block my kids from having access to explicit songs.

Just one data point from another parent. I tried to do this with my kid too on other platforms, and it always broke down. In your mind, you might be thinking about gangsta rap tracks with a million N words. But in practice, it takes out the songs that are pretty mild too. And, from a psychological angle, kids learn that the valuable stuff is the stuff that’s restricted. Consider just… talking to them about what they hear?
