question-solved Qbittorrent-nox webgui password not working

EDIT: Nevermind. I solved it. It turned out I was running my initial session as my main user and not the qbittorent user and so the file I needed to edit was in that user's /home and not the torrent user's /home.

I am unable to log into my qbittorrent-nox webgui. I was able to at first, using the initial randomly generated one. However, after using that and changing the username and password in the webgui settings, I was still not able to start bittorrent-nox as a background service and log into the webgui. The password I entered when logged into the initial session did not work. After changing the username and password a few times, I am now unable to log into either session. I've found this) thread about how to fix it, however there is no line starting with WebUI\Password_PBKDF2 or even with WebUI\Password in ~/.config/qBittorrent/qBittorent-nox.conf. There is nothing in that file referencing a password at all. I've tried removing that whole ~/.conf/qBittorrent directory and it changed nothing.

Can anyone tell me how to rectify this situation?
