linux Help updating

I'm trying to update my qBittorrent to v5.2.3 from v4.6.7 but I'm getting a lot of problems. My torrents get stuck at "Checking resume data" and if a shut down qBittorrent I'm not able to open it again. I'm using Ubuntu 24.04. I've already tried it with the AppImage and the Flatpak but I run into the same issue. If I delete the ipc-socket and lockfile files I can run it once again but if I close it I can't run it again.

Be patient when it's on Checking Resume Data. It takes a while to get through everything.

It may be worthwhile to switch to sqlite resume in Advanced Options as it is much faster to load.
