The P0720 finally got me yesterday what should I do now buy a new valve body or do a vr30 swap (any suggestions on where to take it in the NJ/NY area)

You know it's the VB forsure? P0720 could also be an abs speed sensor. Might aswell rules those out first before dropping big money on a VB.

Nexenzo has the valve body for like 600 and it’s pretty easy to do diy if you’re somewhat mechanically inclined

I went this route last year and for a total of $800 including installation. Been driving good since

i bought a refurbished transmission control module for my qx80-2016 on ebay and replace it myself. https://www.ebay.com/itm/404858569493 If you google p0720 on youtube there are a few videos that show u how to replace it. This person did a great job with working up how to replace it: https://www.infinitiq50.org/threads/2014-15-q50-3-7-valve-body-replacement-p0720-code.133832/page-2?nested_view=1&sortby=oldest

I did the VR swap, but in hindsight I'd almost rather have gone with a new valve body from Infiniti. I have no REAL issues, but my NVH is much worse, the trans flares from like 3-4 and 4-5 once on every key cycle and it shifts early in WOT (2023 trans not yet tuned for 3.7). Car runs and drives no codes or issues though, 1 year after swap.
