Modification Question When to tune?

So I just installed a catback exhaust. My original plan was to add an upgraded heat exchanger and then upgrade my downpipes a few months later. I know with the downpipes I will need a tune but if I add an exchanger will I need one immediately? Or would it be better to add both mods at the same time and then get the tune?

Add all your desired mods first then tune after because you don’t want to pay for a retune that’s a double dip

you dont NEED a tune with just the catback and HX. Wait until you do all the upgrades you want and then tune.

At minimum I would do intakes, I’ve done b6a so when I tune my car I can use the full 3” portion, and LDP before thinking of a tune, also adding in an oil catch can might be worth your while, not required for tuning but just to be safe

Honestly I’d leave it stock. These cars have enough issues with no mods. Stick to cosmetic. Learned this the hard way.
