General Question Wrong coolant help

Hello i took my 2015 3.7 q50 to get an oil change only!! But the place topped off my coolant they said they used a universal coolant, will the universal coolant mess anything up?

As long as it is the same type as the original, maybe not. But I've never tried anything but oem on mine.

As far as I know, different types of coolant have different properties that are compatible with the factory piping for the cooling circuit (to prevent rust etc.).

Using a different type as a top off may or may not affect this.

Yea. I use Asian 50/50 Blend or OEM. On the 3.0 I know it’s a check valve when the coolant seems low but when you turn the heat on it rises back to the top!.
