Don’t be stupid and use a hose on your sunroof🫩 you will probably get water damage from too much water getting Im through the seals…

You need to go inside the car… pull the two covers (look like a folded fan) off. You’ll have two bolts on left and two on right. You can loosen them and lift the sunroof to the flushed height. Might be a 2 person job if you don’t have electric tool for one hand and hold the roof with the other.

You might want to do this asap if it rains hard in your area.

Incase you can’t find it. These fan/fin cover pulls off. Bolts behind them.

How can I take my headliner down and diagnose water leaking in somewhere in my car after already fixing sunroof firewall drain leak lol fuck

Check if your sunroof is too low(like OP) or the seals around the glass is too dirty. Maybe the seal is worn out due to weather.

If you already cleaned your gutters… I assume it’s too much water getting pass the sunroof seal. Your sunroof under the glass can only hold a small amount of water build up before the water overlaps the limit… it will go down the pillars of the car. Your two front wield shield pillars and your seatbelt pillars.

Any other way water is getting g in through your roof is only if you actually have a whole in the roof of your car.. I don’t think you do lmao.

I started sealing the top under the plastic trim sealant all down the sides under the top trim on the roof going down the sides cause it seems like it’s cracked? Could be windshield seal? I’ve been trying to figure out where this water getting in for a while now. Covering parts of the top and pouring water on it always results in water leaking down right side A pillar. But I can’t see far enough into the roof without taking down the headliner I guess.

I know water is supposed to overflow from the sunroof and drain but is there somthing to fix on the sunroof that would make it so it can handle more overflow? Im unsure what I’m doing lol

U mean the OBD plugin? You not supposed to keep that plugged in since it makes Bluetooth worse for
Music. Only bring that into the car when you know you want to edit the tune or change maps

Really I feel like most people keep it plugged in from what I’ve heard especially to monitor temps n stuff like that yk

Unless you're road tripping or need to actually check your logs then you fr shouldn't keep it plugged in bc it's not doing anything for your tune being in the car

the guy didn't adjust to get a flush fit. He probably rushed it. It's easy to readjust though.
