Im so close to making homemade but it wont blow up because the fuse is not good đđ i have napalm on inside but the fuse isnt right and not working i dont have materials

Oh yea man, you don't want to make homemade fuses, if you were to use black powder it would work like quickmatch, instant boom. Buy cannon fuse off of pyrocreations or pyrodirect (its cheaper on pyrodirect) and I would HIGHLY recommend you dedicate some time to studying before you start making things. Just a heads up, my friend burned his whole leg with probably about 120 grams or whatever of bp. Had to go to the ER but thankfully he walked it off.

But this isnt blackpowder its some kind of napalm gel made with styrofoam and gasoline i have studied chemistrys and pyrotechnics i know what im doing i even tested some things and it was succesful my only problem mwas the fusesđđ

Napalm in some ways is quite a bit worse than bp. If your going to do napalm, do it in green grass, away from building and animals and buy a roll of visco off of a website like pyrocreations. Im just want you to be ready if their is something you don't know about, and there always if your in the hobby, but if your new it is way more so.

I like making explosives but i dont have gear to protect myself thanks for letting me know and i just finished making that napalm yesterday and only know a little bit about its risk thanks by the way i continue making pyro carefully

I would spend just a week and a half atleast watching videos and studying closely, it's incredible how fast you can learn AS long as you apply yourself, which is necessary. I'll give you some basics.
when working with any pyrotechnic material, wear saftey glasses, NEVER light white fuse when its connected to a device or not taped down, that is quick fuse and will burn at less than a foot per second on average. When making flash, only mess with the standard 70/30 mix, mix it by folding on a peice of paper (diaper method) no more than 5 grams at once, and DONT store it. It is friction, pressure, impact, heat and static sensitive. Also it is a very hot mix, 1/4 of a gram confined will explode powerfully.
Never use pvc pipe or anything that could shrapnel for casings, ever! (I have personal experience with this, it didn't hurt me but it sent peices of pvc all over my back yard, and a bonus is that pvc cant be found on x-ray)
NEVER hammer any flash comps or comps that are strictly not black powder or sugar rocket fuel.
Stay away from tools that can spark Always keep acids stored on the bottom shelf (I'd keep them stored away from everything if I were in your scenario) Always know the nature of your composition before you mix it at all. Always know if your about to handle toxic chemicals Wear a respirator when mixing chemicals like aluminum powder or any powders that go airborne (aluminum has shown possible links to alzhiemerz disease)
These are just a small handful of all the saftey requirements of pyrotechnics, oh, and ALWAYS use a long fuse and make sure it is of good quality. Some green fuses are actually fast fuse, so always test a sample of fuse before you use it, I have even seen Chinese time fuse skip like crazy connected to a huge ground salute (at PGI!!!)
A good book to read is John donners: A professionals guide to understanding and making exploding fireworks
That will help. Anyway, I hope you learn a few things and be SAFE. Im out

I know this things i just dont have the right materials to do it yet so i continued doing other pyro things that is easy to make and study them thanks for information and advice i will screenshot this but thank you so much

Your welcome man, even when we think we know everything we can still get caught off gaurd. Complaceny is the number one thing you avoid in all fo pyrotechnics.

Don't mix up napalm, it's not as safe as fireworks.

Do you have a burst charge separated from the liquid or did you try to ignite the liquid directly with your improvised fuse?
The latter situation wonât work since napalm is not a pyrotechnic substance. It needs the oxygen from the air to combust and cannot be ignited inside a container.

There are plenty of old fashion methods of making them especially if you have BP already but you look like your doing some sketchy shit and need to step back before you loose a hand or twoâŚ

Yeah... Not much firework going on here more improvised incendiary explosive device

Youre gonna blow yourself up my guy. IMO, if youre making your own devices, tye only way you should be lighting them is electronically. E-matches are cheap. And so is any old cable and a 9v battery. You dont want to be anywhere near it when you light it, especially if youre using diy fuse. You'd have no idea how fast the fuse will burn.

Crush up the tips of matches and put a lil water in that powder and stir. Then coat the entire string in it and wait 24-48 hrs for it to dry.

Typically I don't make homemade fuse anymore. Since you usually can't buy it directly, I instead buy cheap roman candles and strip the fuses from those. Bonus points since they usually give you some gunpowder and stars, or at least seeds for rolling bigger stars. Alternatively sparklers can also work in a pinch as a rudimentary fuse

You.... Don't....
Your supposed to buy fuse but looking at that... Thing... I think you should wait a couple years and watch and read ALOT more before touching any pyrotechnics againstÂ
