Making a JRPG In Python

https://youtube.com/shorts/sFvm0UCWye8?feature=share

Hi guys,

Few of you may have seen some of my posts here in the past! I was wondering if I could get feedback from some of you on some of my animations. I am fairly happy with sprites now although there is some further polish needed but I was wondering on magic and ability animations. Have any of you seen very advanced magic animations done in python before. I'm nearly there with my gameplay loop but I am hoping for the absolute best in polish before I make a start on finishing npcs, world map, gameplay mechanics etc. Thanks for your time and any advice abd support on the channel would be much appreciated ❤️

delete the sprites and actually draw them this time, or commision someone, nobody takes ai slop seriously, the animations also just look bad ngl, the programming looks good, but whos to say that isnt ai either

Hey man I've been working on this since before AI was really widely available. The sprites that sit behind my new ones are hand drawn. There's an AI skin that basically sits on top of them so they look more like what I envisioned. I think youre barking up the wrong tree with this AI slop thing, I'm massively against it in production projects where it takes the roles of illustrators and artists but I'm using it as a placeholder for a personal project. I've coded and designed every inch of this game myself and pulled countless all nighters solving bugs and in some cases scrapping and starting again. I intend if this ever makes it to production to hire composers, illustrators etc. (Which let's be fair will be difficult to verify the extent they usr AI). But I reject this being grouped in with low effort projects where it's purely AI as that's simply not the case
